ELICOS teacher
We are looking for an evening shift (17:30 - 21:30) ELCIOS Teacher with a friendly, proactive disposition and a great work ethic to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate, enthusiastic and preferably, experienced to join our academic team. This position has the potential for further responsibility and growth as the Institute expands and student numbers increase.
Key objectives are:
-Overall compliance of the Childcare course material and delivery;
-Undertake quality Training services to childcare students;
-Management and leadership to the Trainers within the departments and to take ownership of all academic issues and to ensure that training and assessment are delivered to the standard required;
· Communication with all of the Academic, Administrative and Marketing team
· Undertake Childcare courses design, delivery and assessment
· Work placement arrangement and build/increase of work placement partners
· The implementation the Institute’s Training and Assessment Strategies, courseware, and programs that meet our training needs
· The Academic quality of the courses, the currency of curriculum, the integrity of the academic systems including the regular instigation, supervision, and participation in validation and moderation sessions
· Ensuring training delivery adheres to policies, procedures and works towards best practice
· Timetabling and the supervision of the on-line Elearning platform
· ESOS and National Code compliance for overseas students.
· Supervision of Professional Development sessions and currency of Trainers
· Ensure that the college meets the academic requirements of students, staff, and government regulatory bodies
· In consultation with the PEO, Deputy Principal, General Manager and Director, participate in the development of policies and procedures, their implementation and documentation
· Involvement in all aspects of internal and external audits
· Building collaborative relationships with students and internal teams
· Appeals and Complaints resolution
· Designing individual Training programs and Academic Intervention and associated activities, including attendance monitoring
· Maintain the Institute’s vision
· Other duties assigned by the management.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
· Current TAE Certificate in Training and Assessment
· Current industry knowledge and experience
· Qualifications in a relevant field
· Experience with eLearning platforms
· Be a team player, a self-starter with a strong work ethic
· Ability to work under pressure & achieve tight deadlines
· Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

1. Develop Marketing/Sales Strategy for regional market/s;
2.The recruitment of students in your allocated target market and achieve set KPIs;
3.Manage existing Education Agents accounts and develop new opportunities;
4.Develop Marketing Materials and strengthen Communications with stakeholders;
5. Adhere and complete the Genuine Temporary Entrance (GTE) evaluation and procedure;
6. Maintain a current international education knowledge of the VET sector, in particular, relating to skills needs and training requirements on regional, national and international levels.
• Follow-up on students who require academic support, and engage them in an intervention plan where required
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming office and college environment
• Manage general enquiries from international students and agents, including generic email and phone enquiries and refer to appropriate College staff
• Monitor and support general student welfare, especially those under 18
• Check daily attendance of WEG students
• Identify issues of particular importance to overseas students and refer to the relevant staff member to ensure these
• issues are addressed in a consistent and effective manner, including an appropriate follow-up mechanism
• Expedite and ensure appointments with key staff such as careers or counselling
• Correspond with overseas agents/clients in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring that their queries are answered, and homestay details are communicated
