At York English College, we have weekly excursions to bring English learning out of the classroom and into the real world! Not to mention, it’s a great chance for our international students to explore different aspects of Sydney 🏃
Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens
There’s plenty of English learning to do outside of the classroom, too! With the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens so close to our city campus, a brisk walk is all it takes for our ELICOS students to get outside and enjoy the Aussie summer weather and beautiful plant life together 🌿
Hyde Park Barracks Museum
Our ELICOS students visited the Hyde Park Barracks, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site in Sydney, last week to explore and learn more about Australian history through the many installations and artefacts on display at the museum.
The State Library of New South Wales
🎨 The ‘Curious World of Pamela Allen’ exhibits the renowned children’s book writer and illustrator’s works and is on display right now at the State Library of New South Wales!
Our ELICOS students visited the exhibition and explored the library together earlier this week. We hope this trip motivated our ELICOS students to keep working hard on their English journey!
